Elvira 'Vi' Clarissa Chandler
November 21, 1918 - February 19, 2020
Elvira “Vi” Clarissa Chandler, 101 of San Antonio, TX, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Born November 21, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frederick and Grace (Cairl) Krohn. She married John R. Chandler on September 1, 1945. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1995. She was a woman of integrity, wit and a determination to win at any game she played. She crocheted at least one afghan for every family member.
Vi is survived by her loving children, John (Kimberly) Chandler, Jeffrey (Mickey) Chandler and Carolyn (Jim) Null; 9 grandchildren and 13 great -grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Chandler and sister, Winifred Borton.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Thursday, February, 27, 2020, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd., Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, Ohio. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
